Mt. Talamitam-Mt. Balutao Twin Hike

1. REQUIREMENT TO JOIN

4. ITINERARY

0400 Assembly at BSC bus station (formerly Crow) at Edsa Taft (back of Sogo and McDonalds, below MRT northbound)
0430 ETD Km. 83, Sitio Bayabasan, Bgy. Aga, Nasugbu
0700 ETA Km. 83, register with barangay, get seedling if available, breakfast
0730 Start trek of Mt. Talamitam
0930 ETA summit, rest, snack, photo opportunity, collect trash
1000 Start descent
1130 ETA at barangay, tidy up
1145 Take jeep/bus to Evercrest, lunch at Evercrest area
1300 Start trek of Mt. Batulao
1630 ETA summit, rest, snack, photo opps, collect trash
1800 Start descent
2000 ETA where many sari-sari stores are located, light snack, tidy up
2030 Take jeep to Tagaytay
2100 Post-climb dinner in Tagaytay
2200 ETD for Manila
2400 ETA Manila

5. WHAT TO BRING

1. Day pack - fully water-proofed with day hike essentials
2. 3 liters of water (can bring less because stores abound: less to Talamitam, then buy before Batulao)
3. Packed meals
     a. Breakfast
     b. Lunch - option is to buy lunch at Evercrest. Bring food if you got sensitive stomach.
c. Snack for Batulao summit - can be something that can be quickly cooked or heated
4. Headlamp with extra batteries
5. Umbrella/raincoat
6. Arm sleeves, hat, wind-breaker/jacket
7. Trowel
8. Cup for coffee or soup
9. Groundsheet (2) + strings
10. Trash bag (plain, generic without printed brand)
11. First aid kit and personal medicine

Jeep/bus from Talamitam to Evercrest – P30 estimate
Registration (Batulao 1) - P20
